FPSC CSS Competitive Examination 2026 – Public Notice

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) invites applications for the MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2026. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and apply online before the deadline.

Examination Details

• MPT Date: Sunday, 9 November 2025

• Main CSS CE: Governed under CSS CE Rules 2019

• Mandatory: Qualify MPT to appear in CSS CE 2026

Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, D.I. Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sukkur

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2nd Division

• Age: 21 to 30 years (upper age limit relaxed by 2 years for specific categories under CSS CE Rules 2019)

• Cut-off Date for determining eligibility: 31 December 2025

How to Apply

• Apply online at www.fpsc.gov.pk between 11 – 25 August 2025

• Submit the application fee of Rs. 250/- in the nearest Government Treasury, State Bank of Pakistan, or National Bank of Pakistan under the account head “C02101-Organs of State Exam Fee”

• Download the admission certificate from the FPSC website 10 days before the test

Important Notes

• Fill out the application form carefully and review it before submission

• Bring the original challan form to the exam center before the test

• FPSC will reject incorrect entries in CNIC or Date of Birth

• FPSC enforces zero tolerance for cheating or unfair means

• Only candidates passing the written test can appear in the main CSS CE 2026
