Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB)

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB), a public sector autonomous organization, is responsible for accelerating growth in the ICT and ICT-enabled services sector. The organization is now inviting applications for several project-based, fixed-pay, and contractual positions. These positions are project-based and are extendable upon satisfactory performance. Available Positions

Project Manager (equivalent to BPS-19) – 1 Position

Location: PMU, KPITB Headquarters, Peshawar

Upper Age Limit: 50 years

Education: We require a degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Public Administration, ICT, or a relevant discipline (at least 16 years of education).

Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with at least 3 years in project management roles, preferably within the public or development sector.

Business Development Manager (equivalent to BPS-18) – 1 Position

Location: PMU, KPITB Headquarters, Peshawar

Upper Age Limit: 45 years

Education: Applicants must have 16 years of education in Business Administration, Marketing, ICT, or a relevant discipline.

Experience: We need a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience in business development, marketing, or industry liaison roles. We will give preference to candidates with experience in the Tech, public, or development sectors.

Admin, Finance & Accounts Officer (equivalent to BPS-17) – 1 Position

Location: PMU, KPITB Headquarters, Peshawar

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Education: A minimum of 16 years of education in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration (Finance/Accounts/Management) from an HEC-recognized institution is required. We will give preference to candidates with certifications (ACCA, CA, ICMA) or accounting systems experience.

Experience: You should have at least 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in financial management, public sector accounting, or donor-funded project finance. Experience in procurement, audit, compliance, and ERP would be an advantage.

Admin and Business Development Officer (equivalent to BPS-17) – 4 Positions

Location: Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, D.I. Khan

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Education: You must have 16 years of education in Business Administration, Public Administration, ICT, Management, or an equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience: We require a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in administration, finance, accounting, facility management, co-working operations, or business development within the public or private sector.

IT and Facility Management Assistant (equivalent to BPS-16) – 4 Positions

Location: Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, D.I. Khan

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Education: We require a minimum of 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Telecom Engineering, or a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience in IT support, administration, facility operations, or infrastructure maintenance. We will give preference to candidates with hands-on networking and system administration experience.

Terms & Conditions

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test. However, the shortlisting committee will conduct a detailed scrutiny. We will disqualify any candidate found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process.

All candidates must create a profile on the ETEA website. Then, after creating the profile and before applying/depositing the fee, you must print an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website and get your CNIC verified from any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without this verification, you will not be able to apply for any post.

We will subsequently screen candidates who qualify for the written test to check their relevance against the eligibility criteria.

Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements by the last date for the receipt of applications.

We will not accept incomplete or late applications.

Additionally, we will not accept unclaimed qualifications.

If you provide incorrect information on the online application form, we will not only reject your application but may also pursue legal action.

We will only call shortlisted candidates for an interview.

Candidates who currently work for the government or semi-government bodies must apply through the proper channel.

The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased.

Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.

The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or reject any application for a valid reason.

We will not provide any TA/DA for the test or interview.

If you have a foreign degree, you must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC.

How to Apply

First, visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply online.

After you submit your online application, you must print a prescribed online deposit slip (which includes a token number, project code, and your personal information).

Next, take a printout of the generated deposit slip and pay the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through Easypaisa or any branch of UBL Bank or via a UBL OMNI agent.

After successfully submitting the fee, keep the original deposit slip (the candidate’s copy) which should have a bank desired stamp, and do not share it with anyone.

Do not send online documents or testimonials to the ETEA office. However, you will need to provide copies of testimonials and documents if you qualify for the screening test, as and when required by the Appointing Authority for scrutiny purposes.

The online Application Form became available on 10th Aug, 2025.

The last date for submitting your online application is 31st Aug, 2025.

ETEA will inform candidates via SMS to download and print their Roll No. Slips from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates should not use ported or converted mobile numbers.

The Roll No. Slip will mention the Test Date, Time, and Venue.

Finally, we will not issue separate Call Letters for the screening test through postal or courier services.
