Key Responsibilities of the Medical Director:

 

• Clinical Excellence: Ensure and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence across all facets of hospital operations.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of clinical practices to identify areas for improvement and maintain optimal patient outcomes.
• Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital services.
• Financial Management: Oversee and develop the annual clinical budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Strategic Reporting: Report directly to the Board of Governors, providing strategic insights and recommendations on medical operations.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

• A Medical Degree is required.
• A record of excellence in clinical care is essential.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role within a major hospital clinical unit in any clinical discipline is mandatory.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

• The Medical Director will receive a faculty appointment at an appropriate level, recognizing their expertise and contributions.
• The position permits approximately 20% of time for scholarly activities or clinical practice in their specialty.
