Position: IT Specialist Location: PCSIR Labs, Complex, Karachi, Pakistan Advertisement No.: 02/2025

Job Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a robust IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Database Management: Designing, implementing, and managing databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Developing and executing data analysis and reporting processes to support organizational decision-making.
• System Administration: Managing and maintaining various systems, including operating systems, network infrastructure, and application servers.
• Web Development: Working with web technologies like Java, JSP, and HTML to support the organization’s online presence.
• Security & Networking: Implementing and maintaining network security protocols and managing network infrastructure.
• Software Development: Developing and supporting applications using technologies such as Visual Basic.
• Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:

• Option 1: A Master’s degree (or equivalent 16 years of education) in a relevant field with at least ten (10) years of post-qualification experience.
• Option 2: A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five (05) years of post-qualification experience.

Maximum Age Limit: 62 years.

Required Skills & Expertise

We are looking for a candidate with excellent skills and experience in the following areas:

• Database Management System (DBMS)
• Data Analysis & Report Development
• Knowledge of Developing Interactive Media
• Information System Strategy
• Computer Networking
• Java Server Pages (JSP), HyperText Markup Language (HTML)
• SQL Server, Seagate Crystal Report, and Visual Basic (preferred)
